Description
After a year of remote communication, GROUND UP ISSUE 11: FEEDBACK sought submissions that tune back into our surroundings, re-enter conversations, and reflect on the shape of our dialogues—with the landscape and each other.
Giving and receiving feedback is an ongoing and complex process.
The works in the journal are arranged into three chapters to guide you:
Listening offers advice for becoming attuned to the landscape, to the non-human languages we might overlook, and to divergent experiences of designed spaces.
Conversing begins and joins conversations in our academic and professional field, examining our understanding of landscapes and their communities, and providing more thoughtful pathways for engaging with them.
Returning reveals the reciprocal and conflictual cycles of feedback that occur at the scale of lifespans, ecosystems and geology.
We hope you enjoy the works as much as we have.
